At Temple of Kulture, we believe in nurturing young talent and providing a platform for artistic expression. Our youth programs offer an exciting array of opportunities for children and teens to discover their passion, develop their skills, and build lasting friendships.
Young Actors Development Program
Our Young Actors Development Program is tailored for young performers aged 5 to 16. Through drama games, workshops, and masterclasses, participants build confidence, express creativity, and enhance teamwork skills. This program includes performance opportunities, training in acting, and more. It's the perfect way for young actors to explore the world of theatre.
Street Dance and Cultural Dances
Street Dance:
Street dance is all about rhythm, style, and self-expression. Our Street Dance program is open to ages 7 to 16. Participants groove to the latest beats, learn hip-hop moves, and develop their unique dance style. From popping and locking to breakdancing, it's a dynamic journey into the world of urban dance.
Cultural Dances:
Immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of world cultures through our Cultural Dance program. Open to ages 7 to 16, this program explores dances from various cultures, including traditional African, Caribbean, Asian, and Latin dances. It's a vibrant fusion of movement and music, celebrating diversity and unity.

*Please note: Our Academic year is from September to July.
Exams:
For those who want to challenge themselves, we offer Temple of Kulture Internal Exams. Students receive a mark, personalized feedback, and a certificate based on their overall performance at the end of the year. They will be assessed against criteria such as progress, research, technique, and creativity.

Jack Petchey Achievement Award:
Temple of Kulture is part of the Jack Petchey Achievement Award under the Gold scheme. Jack Petchey Achievement Award winners are young people who have gone above and beyond to achieve. Each year young people select their peers to be nominated for the award because of their dedication and exceptional work done within the group.
Arts Awards:
Do you enjoy the arts, like to be creative and have a strong passion for taking leadership?
Temple of Kulture is proudly an Arts Award Centre. The Arts Award qualification is designed to inspire young people up to the age of 25 to grow their art skills and leadership talents. We offer support to young people so they can complete their Discover award all the way to achieving their Gold (which accumulates UCAS points). You can be the creator or performer of your own work or develop your skills in essential roles like marketing or stage management.

Welcome to Temple of Kulture's vibrant Young Company – a weekly youth theatre group tailor-made for ages 5 to 25. Here, your journey of creativity and friendship begins. Through a blend of exciting drama games dance, and interactive workshops, our Young Company members are nurtured to thrive in confidence, embrace their creativity, and cultivate teamwork in a supportive and engaging environment.
Every Saturday morning during term time, our dynamic sessions provide young individuals with the opportunity to develop a range of drama skills. From acting and directing to script-writing and stage design, our comprehensive curriculum is designed to spark passion and growth.
2023 brings a wave of excitement with new benefits, including exclusive performance opportunities, enriching masterclasses, complimentary tickets to Temple of Kulture productions, and captivating group trips to the iconic West End.
Paying for Young Company is hassle-free with termly payment options. You can choose to split the termly fees into two manageable installations, making it accessible for all.

Roots: Youth Theatre
For Ages 14 - 25
Duration: 6 Months, Weekly Sessions
Roots is an exciting project that focuses on performing and visual arts, health, and wellbeing. Engage in storytelling, street dance, xR, visual arts, music, and drama. This program aims to provide a holistic experience for young people within the south and west London, as well as the Medway and Kent area.
